The Twilight Impulse

My thoughts and impressions of the Twilight Saga, written by the fabulous Stephenie Meyer

Hey, I'm a massive Twilight Fan, and thanks to my friends being fed up with having to listern to my non-stop chattering about Twilight, i decided to create a blog for myself to just vent and document my twilight obsession!! I'm current studying journalism and have aspiration to become one, so why not write about something as awesome as the Twilight Saga!!

Apparently the security on New Moon was supposed to be really tight and all. But, wow. Eclipse's security is so much better. On New Moon, fans were getting pictures of almost every single scene, and all of the actor on set in costume. This amount of spoilers about what scenes they were shooting, costumes, make-up, what was happening was all exposed. It's not Chris Weitz's fault, but security was really strict, and people were still getting pictures and videos.

However, on Eclipse, they have been filming for a little under a month and we have only had to three scene exposed. One, with Victoria and Riley, Jasper trying to train one newborns in a shed apparently and the graduation scene. That's all. New Moon has lots, the birthday scene, the school scenes, the motorcycle scenes, the beach scene, and lots and lots of other ones. There were so many pictures.

Also, the actors have been harder to find. Robert disappeared for over 2 weeks, when nobody heard or saw anything from him. Up until late last week was when we saw him again. Taylor hasn't been seen since he arrived, and went shopping with Nikki Reed, apart from that one dinner. Obviously he has probably been filming, but nobody has seen him. The actors like Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser, Xaiver Samuel, Bryce Dallas Howard, are frequently seen around shopping, going to Starbucks and just out and about.

I really miss seeing pictures of what David Slade is shooting, because it kind of gives you an indication of what the film is going to look like. Its a bad situation because as much as i want pictures and video and what not, i hate that the actors are plagued with paparazzi and having them trying to sneak onto the sets, sometimes interrupting them, when all they are trying to do is get the movie completed. All in all, the security is sooo tight. Michael Sheen actually asked some guy what his job was and he said containment. Lol, he told Michael that its his job to stop people from taking pictures and videos. They have a guy to stop people from doing that wow!! What a job.
